Ta tou theou took first prize in the competition arranged to mark the inauguration of the new organ at Lutheran Cathedral in 1967. This edition of the work has been thoroughly revised and suggested registrations have been added. The work comprises four contemplations on holy rubrics, mystical in a Messiaen-like way but more distilled, bare and dissonant in terms of musical language.
