A primary aim of Colourstrings is to create community through playing chamber music. The duos of Colourstrings Duettini I for two violins invite the child to play with peers, friends or teacher from the very first lesson. The violin, often a lonely pursuit at the start, is immediately socialised, and these enjoyable masterpieces will bring a smile and a warm atmosphere into teaching studios everywhere.
Duos of the Colourstrings Duettini I by László Rossa and Géza Szilvay are arrangements of the exercises, melodies and songs of Colourstrings Violin ABC Book A. The first violin part consists of only open strings and natural harmonics. This part is to be played by the beginner, whilst the second violin part is intended for an advanced pupil or the teacher.
Duettini I can be fully utilized also without any previous use or knowledge about the Colourstrings method. An edition with conventional black-and-white notation is available separately (ISMN 9790550119994).
