Sonatini for violin and piano (violin part available separately [9790550111028]) by László Rossa and Géza Szilvay paves the way for intimate chamber music and recital playing - from the very beginning! The melodies of the violin part are taken from the four first volumes of the Colourstrings Violin ABC (Book A (9790550093256), Book B (9790550093263), Book C (9790550093270) and Book D (9790550114104)). Sonatini can be fully utilized also without any previous use or knowledge about the Colourstrings method.

Sonatini-kokoelman kappaleet on valittu Colourstrings-viulukoulun neljästä ensimmäisestä osasta, joiden suosikkimelodioihin László Rossa kirjoitti pianosäestykset. Piano ei ainoastaan säestä, vaan pikemminkin nostaa pienen viulistin musikaaliseksi partneriksi.
