Petros Paukkunen (b. 1990) sparkling orchestral piece Touched by sacred (2019) fire was premiered at Sibelius Festival, Finland by Lahti Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dima Slobodeniouk. The composer describes the 12-minute long piece as a continuum of ritual dance and meditation.

He earned a Master of Music degree from the Sibelius Academy in 2017 and is currently extending his studies in composition. Paukkunen has composed a diverse range of acousmatic, orchestral, ecclesiastical and solo instrumental music.
